SUPER COMMENTARY #3: Welcome to MAYHEM TV. In hindsight, I should’ve just started Jigworthy with this.
Mayhem TV is an interesting thing in the world of Jigworthy. It’s actually composed of standalone jokes, many of them inside jokes, that Aryn, Jeremy, and I came up with together. It’s one part sketch comedy, two parts improv, and the rest is a mishmash of cigarette butts and gum wrappers to taste. It’s also ambiguous whether the events of Mayhem TV are real, or just an alternate universe/reality of our characters.
The actual news report of Aryn interviewing me about pooping was born of a conversation we had in real life, in which she asked me that question in an overly-earnest-newscaster voice, and I just couldn’t stop laughing.

I think there was at one time a legitimate attempt to start recording Mayhem TV and make some sort of series out of it. (This was composed by Aryn and I during our not going to class years at BGSU.) Unfortunately, the structure of Mayhem TV just wouldn’t allow it. Mayhem TV was a series of jokes that we were somehow able to link together into a sizable script. Very little of the jokes were actually made up for the sake of the comic. that means to create regular episodes, we would have to hang out for extended periods of time. Problem is, Aryn is unlikable. i smell bad. And Alex is lame. so we never got around to it! <3
