The remerchandising of this franchise confuses and alarms me. Every mall in America still holds at least 50 tons of Jack Skellington merchandise. I mean, Disney DID try to make a sequel in 2001 for it, and apparently the 2005 video game is semi-canological (and takes place after the movie), but last I’d heard, Tim Burton was adamant against having an official sequel — yet year after year, I see new merchandise hitting the shelves. ._.
